Hotel was built three years ago. It is very new and feel very comfortable. The layout of the room is wonderful. Spacious and spacious. There is only a shower in the room, but there is a large bath in the basement. There is usually a toilet and bath in a small space. I think that cleaning the shower room is easy even for working people. Especially if you are a foreigner, you don't need to take a bath. The room has large windows and is very comfortable. We stayed on the 2nd and 5th floors, so the scenery wasn't that great, but the room was refreshing with plenty of sunlight. When I travel, charging my smartphone becomes a daily routine, and there are many places where I can charge electricity, which is very useful. The futon wasn't too big and fluffy, but the futon didn't have a belt (most hotels have a meaningless obi on the quilt.) The flat but warm futon was comfortable. Large futons sometimes get in the way. The bed was generally comfortable. Amenities were available at the front desk, and there were moisturizers and creams, which was helpful. The towel for rubbing the body was also very convenient, so when I went to the underground hot spring, it was perfect if I only had a comb, a towel to rub the body, and a washcloth. Breakfast looked great. I thought it was very elegant and Kyoto. Especially the pumpkin and sweet potato dish was the best. For some reason, the other dishes were too salty for me. They even lent guests umbrellas and rented bicycles. There were four washing machines, and everyone was on time, so I didn't have to wait. Was the bath a hot spring? It was very quiet, clean, and serene, so I was able to stay calm, but I never met anyone. When I travel, I enjoy talking with local people. During the morning meal, the restaurant explained the meal. I was very happy. I wanted to talk to him more, but he seemed very busy. Next door the Hotel has Lawson convenience store.

We stayed at this hotel New Years Eve and New Years day 2023/2024. First I want to say that EVERYONE at this hotel is VERY KIND and HELPFULL even FOR FOREIGNERS. It was also close to Kyoto shrine area(10 minute walk to train). Plus Lawsons across the street for snacks etc. We had an AMAZING MEAL at a KOREAN RESTAURANT up the street from the Lawsons. You need to go to this restaurant and get samgyeopsal. The food was wonderful and the owner was so kind. The hotel buffet at the restaurant was abundant and wonderful and if you watch the employees, they work so fast and hard non-stop to keep the food filled. I actually never saw WORKERS who looked like they LOVED THEIR JOB so much. I was so impressed. They really were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I have to say that WE HAD VERY VERY EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE FROM NATE KAKU. My son was feeling ill one night and since we are from United States we can usually go to a local convenience store for Ibuprofen for pain. However, In Japan you need to go to a pharmacy for that medication. We found this out after visiting the Lawsons across the street from the hotel to buy the Ibuprofen. I went to the front desk for help and explained our situation to NATE KAKU. NATE spoke English and actually used his phone to contact multiple pharmacies in the area. Not only did NATE find a pharmacy that was open, he told the Pharmacist what needed and that we were arriving soon. Due to NATE KAKU'S HELP, were able to get the ibuprofen and our son was feeling better in a very short time than expected. NATE SHOULD BE A HOTEL MANGER OR OWNER AS HE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! THANK YOU NATE KAKU!! ARIGATOU!

The rooms are spacious for a Japanese hotel. We had twin rooms with two beds and there is still ample space for another bed and a couch. The hotel has a public bath and you can borrow a bike which you can use to go around the area with no additional charge. There is a laundry facility and a vending machine on the same floor as the public bath so you can take a bath while doing the laundry. There is also extra security to access the female bath and this is a plus, as our group is mostly composed of females. They have free amenities at the lobby aside from the ones provided in the room. Daily cleaning is available and they also provide sleepwear as well as a basket which you can use to put the towels and stuff you can bring at the public bath. The room has a view of the Kyoto Tower and the hotel is beside Lawson.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chisun Premium Hotel and highly recommend it to other travellers: 1) it's super clean and modern with spacious rooms. 2) the reception staff was friendly and very polite. They were genuinely happy to help us out with any request. 3)the location is great and close to some major train lines. Approximately 10-15min walk to Kyoto Central,Tofukuji and the Kujo subway line. Tofukuji line is very convenient to get to Fushimi Inari and the Tofukuji temple complex. 4) Lawson's right next door and a couple of restaurants close to the hotel. Kyoto Station has a great choice of restaurants and shops. 5) The public bath present on site is great for those who want to try out the onsen experience. The bath is very clean and modern with lots of amenities.

The onsen or public bath was lovely. After a long day of sightseeing, it was great to soak in the bath. It was usually empty, so you had the place to yourself. There was a convenience store right next door, so if one was too tired to go out for dinner, one could pick up some food and drinks and relax in the room. The laundry facility was a boon. We left Kyoto with all clean clothes! Staff were extremely helpful. Facility to transfer your luggage to your next destination was available at the hotel via Yamato.
